Moving down from Maine, I'm sure you appreciate the extra length of autumn glory in the mid-Atlantic. Up here, we've moved on to Stick Season. Stick and stuck in writing, for me that is. I'm not stressing, but underneath I am. Meanwhile, drawing and reading and cooking and otherwise making myself useful. I'm impressed how you went back home from Burlington and got to work!!
Hi Char -- I do love the fall here, but some days we are reverting to late summer! I've still got lettuce in my garden plot... as long as I water it. NO rain in all of September. So... I never knew what stick season was until that song became popular! I am enjoying your posts of cooking in stick season. :-) The words will come when they are ready, I have no doubt. You have stories still to tell.
